Dr. Peña is a wonderful doctor. He spends a lot of time with you and listens to everything you have to say then he discusses everything and explains and goes over everything in detail with you, and always answers all your questions . he found things and ordered things that my other doctors did not find or order. Dr. Peña is THE BEST doctor I have ever had. He truly cares and spends time with you. If you see poor reviews, it's in reference to the wait staff and company itself, not Dr. Peña. Since he is so awesome, yes, you will have to wait months to see him, but trust me it's so worth it. He's the only reason why I deal with Cano Health.
This is a doctor that will never dismiss your concerns or symptoms! This is the doctor who will dig and dig until he finds the answer. Two of my husband's brothers died and the young age of 49 & 50 of a heart attack, my husband went to Dr. Peña with obvious concerns and he discovered that they have a genetic disease called Familial dislipidemia, it's when the body produces (diet aside) more of the bad cholesterol and less than the good.
