Dr Pena is fine, but the inability of a 70+ year old to get a nose spray prescription called in to pharmacy without an office visit is wrong in this age of covid. I really don’t need to be stuck in a waiting room with sick people just to get nasal spray.
Dr. Is simply the BEST. He treats you like family, listens and never rushes you. He fully explains in details and makes recommendations for your well being. I LOVE him so and do not mind waiting at all, because I fully trust him. He is a wonderful Doctor.
I have been with Dr. Peña for over a year and he is a wonderful dedicated doctor. He went over my blood work line by line, explaining how it affect and what to do about it. Action plan, medications and follow up. Be aware that he is a super busy doctor because he does this will ALL his patients so YES, the wait time to see his is hours behind, and the appointments also are months away. I dont care about this and I get either weekend appointments or late during the day. Please dont blame the staff for your long wait.
Dr. Pena is the best doctor you could ever find, without any exaggeration. Especially in South FL where standards are generally much lower. He is extremely competent, knowledgeable, humane and caring. Dr. Pena spends all the time each patient needs with them without looking at the watch, hence be prepared for longer wait but it’s absolutely worth it. Dr. PeÑa is an excellent , dedicate and professional doctor. Even I have to wait hours I don't mind because he explain in detail your results and any option you could follow.He really cares about his patients some people don't appreciate that because of the hurry that we are living . The only sand thing is that some times I believe that the staff don't gave the massages and are not detail oriented as he is. Good doctors as Dr. Peña are very few!!!!! He is a 10!!!!!!
He is an excellent doctor takes his time to explain all your bloodwork in detail Answers any questions and really cares about his patients I have been with him for quite a few years & would never go to anyone else

This is not a reflection On the Doctor because I met him only once. The issue is the HORRIBLE FRONT DESK AND THE ASSISTANT The Doctor cant take this many appointments and THEY KNOW IT. My experience was Day 1- Wait 4 hours And saw the Doctor, typical appointment Go get exams and an Ultrasound for a suspicion of Hernia. My Cell Dead Remember this Day 2 - All exams were supposed to be at the doctor, Not so fast the ASSISTANT DIDNT PREPARE ANYTHING, after 2 HOURS OF WAITING She says 'Sorry I dont have the Ultra sound ' So i had... read more
