But not for the carpet stains in my rooms I would give my stay at this hotel a 5 star rating. They were that bad looking. The carpets made the rooms look like a crime scene. Get rid of the carpet! Also, I called to report the stopper in the bathroom was missing and no one ever came to replace it. Definitely a place I would stay again if I need a hotel in the area.

This could easily be a 3 star property. The staff was very friendly. The location is convenient for activities in both St. Louis and East St. Louis. I was impressed with the quiet even though there is a casino right next door. The ice cold water available upon entry is a nice added touch. However, the carpet needs to be removed. I stayed in room 216 and the large stain in the carpet was not a very good first impression. It immediately made me think the room was going to be dirty. An average hotel next to a casino

Very nice hotel with casino next door that had several dining options. The only negative was lots of foot traffic from the train and people sleeping in cars in the parking lot.
