Exactly what I was looking for I needed a small, quick scanning device to clean out my file drawers. This does just the job. The software is a little cumbersome, but I've got my system down and tons of documents I can shred now. Be careful to only feed one document at a time as it jams easy if a second doc starts feeding through. It's easy to pull out and start over, but just try to avoid it. And it's ready for anther document right away, so you can scan multiple pages pretty quickly.

Great portable scanner I am a tax preparer who goes to client homes and this scanner worked out great. It is quick and fast while saving documents in a pdf format. The fact that is draws power from the USB cord keeps wiring simple. I highly recommend it for fast and portable scanning on the go.
No power cord needed works great. Does exactly what it says it does. Scan quality is very good. You can throw in a desk drawer and pull out on the rare occasion you need to scan. If you scan a lot, this may not be for you, as you have to work with it a bit, you can't just throw a stack of paper down and let it feed. It's a 'single shot' scanner. To do multiple pages, you just feed them one after another, works fine, but I wouldn't use it in an office setting where you scanned a lot of stacked documents.
Good scanner. Works under Linux. I bought this specifically to use under Linux and was disappointed that I could not find drivers on their website. After a few emails with Brother support, it turns out that they recently reorganized the website and simply forgot to re-post the drivers. In any case, the drivers were up within a day and they work great (this saved what would have been a nasty review, since the box clearly states that Linux is supported). Awesome little scanner I got this thing hoping it would be faster than my flatbed for scanning checks and making eDeposits. VERY satisfied. Probably should have gotten the two sided scanner, but I love this little thing.
Grat little scanner for the price! Works perfect and is super portable. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a scanner. Excellent value for the price.
Good cheaper scale printer. We have a few of these in our company and have worked out well. No issues with running OS's or anything and the people that use them don't complain so that means they work well.
Just what I needed I needed a small scanner that I could pull out when I NEEDED it and quickly scan in documents to email. We don't have a land line (so no fax machine) and I often have to get documents signed and back to my remote working location quickly).
