Horrible product. Terrible support. Don't buy! It never works properly and the support is a nightmare. Complete waste of time and money. PS Note that when asked if DS620 works with MacOS, they craftily answered that 640 works... which is not answering the question. Scam! Scam! Scam! Don't Buy any Brother! It's all one-year warranty, then you are left to find something else... ok, if you can print money with it but you can't and that's why they want yours!

Worse scanner Worse scanner ever. Everything is hard to read no matter what setting.
Subpar scans The only good thing about this scanner is the portability. Downloading the software for it was a nightmare and the quality of the scans were subpar. The color scans were splotchy and the black and white scans were incomprehensible. The only scans that were clear were the gray scans...this scanner was definitely not worth the price.
Page Manager Software will not work on Mac Page Manager software for Mac will not work. I have been corresponding with Brother for 11 months and so far they have just said that they are working on the problem. Don't buy this scanner if using on a Mac
Worked great, at first. This product was perfect at first! I bought it specifically for the Button Manger part of it, that allows to scan directly to email. This function has stopped working intermittently and it forces me to redownload the driver for this feature ALL THE TIME. And half of the time, that does not work, and I have to constantly be messing with it. If you scan directly to your computer - that is a whole other nightmare. When the software actually works, it's a decent scanner This would be a decent scanner, but the software doesn't work 9 times out of 10. Sometimes, if you uninstall, download a new copy and reinstall, it will work, but not always. Most of the time, when you attempt to open the software, all you get is a popup that says "Supported Scanners: DS-620". I'm beyond dealing with the frustration on this and am about to take it outside and run it over with my car.
Does not work with Mac OS 10.15.5 I used this product for the last 6 months successfully, but when my Mac updated to Catalina 10.15.5 it stopped working. I have been unable to get an updated driver to work from online download.
