Our experience with Dwell Inspect could not have been better. The inspection was detailed and very thorough. They followed up with us multiple times and told us to reach out at any time with questions. I would refer them to all of my friends.
These folks were amazing. They went above and beyond and provided a comprehensive review of every aspect of the house. Quick to inspect but did not give a detailed overview. Felt this was not worth my money or time. It's no wonder inspectors have a bad name.
A year ago, Steven Rasmussen from Dwell inspected my home for a pending sale. * I told Steven the (broken) washer and dryer were not included in the sale. He still ran them both and incorrectly said the washer was working, but not the dryer. When I opened the washer front-loading door gallons of water rushed out over the floor before I could slam the door shut. WARNING - AVOID - If I could, I'd give this inspector/company a negative star! This inspector just lost us the sale of our house because of an inaccurate and incompetent assessment. - He stated that we had a broken water softener and took an image of it in the middle of the garage. This was an old system that was obviously disconnected. The brand new one was hanging on the wall next to it. - Didn't know we had 2 AC units and performed a temperature test comparison. Used them twice, first time was a great experience honestly. Second time, different inspector, he missed a major issue on the house. I know they are going to reply to this review and tell everyone that they caught this issue, told me about it, and I am in the wrong for blaming them on this, blah, blah, blah.
