Very solid experience overall — 8/10. Staff does the best they can to accommodate students' needs, and are generally responsive/helpful. Qualms are less with the staff than with the location overall — the hotel is a bit crowded/touristy, and it's not exactly the greatest location in NY. Nevertheless everything is true as advertised and the staff does their best to make it a great experience.

I stayed at the New Yorker while interning this past summer and I absolutely loved the location. The 15th floor common area was great and consistently stayed clean, but I was a bit surprised by the state of the room given what they were charging. It was smaller than my dorm had been when I freshman in college and felt dirtier. I did not by any means pay more than I had to, in fact I believe I got one of the cheapest options available, but for over $5,000 for a the summer I expected the place to be cleaned at the very least. ... read more

This is a great place for Summer NYC Interns to live! The location is amazing, and the prices will reflect that. Marymount is close to some of the best restaurants, Central Park, Times Square, and much more! One of the reasons why I choose Marymount out of all of EHS' options is that it was a 15 minute walk from where I worked for the summer. I really enjoyed living at EHS. The entire process from move in to move out was extremely easy and much more simple than other options for students in the summer, like subleasing. The facilities are nice, and the staff are great at what they do.

I stayed in the Marymount E 55th St location. The location was amazing. It was steps away from the E, M, and 6. The apartment was very spacious, although the air conditioning could’ve been better. Overall it was a good experience.

My view was incredible from my room on the 12th floor. The whole staff was incredibly nice, from the security guards, the janitors and the EHS office staff. I almost gave this review a 4, but I remembered during my last week at Marymount, our toilet kept dysfunctioning. Everytime it messed up we emailed them, and they were extremely responsive and came ASAP to fix the problem. That is why I gave them a 5. Yes the oven could be a bit hotter so it doesn't take 30 minutes to boil water, but you're in New York! Grab a hero or so... read more
