Food is inconsistent, tableware is not clean. Staff was not timely in responsiveness to issues. Medicines not dispensed properly. And the aides are not well trained. My mom fell twice while directly under their care, unacceptable in my opinion. Cannot recommend for assisted living at all. My parents just moved to Palms of Largo, 100% better so far.

I expected the facility would be safe during wind & rain storms. They told me that it is “hurricane safe”. IT IS NOT. Rain comes in my windows, soaking the carpets & damaging my wood furniture. The plaster around the windows was soaked & fell to the floor. When you tour this facility look at the air ducts in the hallways. Black mold is evident in both the north & south towers. Initially I thought this would be a good fit for me. The marketing ppl are very friendly. Although, what was promised wasn’t upheld. Now that I’ve joi... read more

My mother has been here for 7 years and each year benefits decline as does the condition of the property and quality of living. The place is constantly under construction and the noise is deafening. I tried to visit my mother from out of town and woke up at 8am to hammering for hours. Then there was contruction outside of the building as well! This has been going on for years. When you approach management they give you lip service and nothing changes. Today was the last straw. I spoke with [name removed]who has made it clear... read more

My mother was presented with many papers to sign as the rental agreement, including an "incentive summary". She felt she did not have adequate time and explanation of what she signed. Less than two weeks later, my mother is no longer able to move in. Elison is not willing to refund her deposits.

The facility is clean and rooms are nice, but management is passive/aggressive. When I raised concerns about staffing behaviors or medication errors, I was treated disrespectfully and concerns were minimalized. Staff are discouraged from befriending residents and food is low quality. Most staff are very caring, but the hire warm bodies.

I would suggest you be careful. You hear things on the way in and they ended up not being true. They have lost some of my loved one's belongings and others were missing from their room. The communication with the caregivers was ok and the communication with the management team leaves something to be desired.

Tough moving in...suggest a walk through and still you will have issues. Get as much as you can up front. Book out your 25 hours of move in help for the $2,600 one time lose it moving in fee. Otherwise the people may not be available. The departments seems to offer more to some people than others wonder if she is getting what she is supposed to. They told us to buy our own hand held shower head and they purchased one for someone else before the install. Read the move in packet and get it ahead of time. Do Not Use Price Rite ... read more

The head nurse who did the assessment, was really on top of her game! She impressed me the most of the nurses I saw. I wasn't really impressed with the unit upstairs. It was kind of dark and dingey. They had a therapy dog that was kept in the directors office in a cage.
