My garage door opener broke on a Sunday morning. I called Elite with plans of scheduling someone to come over during the week. They asked if I was available later that same day. Wow! The technician quickly diagnosed the problem and recommended a solution. He also patiently answered my many questions before starting the job. The technicians arrived within the time allowed during my appointment set up. This was a maintenance call, and change out rollers. They were terrific, and I'd recommend Precision door/Elite for any kind of garage door service.
Our technician was timely, efficient and very polite. He diagnosed the problem (broken spring and frayed cables). The repair job was a little more expensive than we expected but we are very satisfied with the results. I asked him to also check out out single garage door electric eye and he repaired that as well.
The Elite company replied promptly which I greatly appreciate! The other company never replied to my message. The technician seemed to know that the spring needed to be replaced as well as the rollers which were the old metal ones. He said he would lubricate all of the screws and tighten them on the existing door without charge. The door is working beautifully now. The reason that I gave them four stars is that I felt that the charges were a bit excessive.

The spring on my door broke and I needed a replacement. I was told due to the age of my door and hardware (30 years) it would only be slightly more for a new door and hardware than to replace the old parts. I elected to do that. The two technicians that came out and replaced my door were very friendly, and knowledgeable . It was easy to see they were experienced at what they were doing. Even with the 100 degree temperatures they got the job done in a very professional manner.
Timely, professional service. Repaired the door the morning after being called. Now the 6-year old door works as good as new.
