The fertilization went really well. We still have not been able to take of the stickers which is very frustrating. They are now all over our back yard. We were on a package where they come every 6 weeks or so, I do wish they would call before hand to let you know they were coming. But overall they were very friendly & helpful.

Hello [member name removed]. We only came out for 2 applications which is not enough to get effective sticker control. Honestly we would really need a whole year to get rid of them. The burrs are so thick and woody they don't disappear very quickly like other weed types. The best way to get rid of them is with pre-emergents in the Spring if you would like to try that next year. I think it was pretty good. I've never had my lawn aerated before, so I have no point of comparison. But they came and they did it while I was at work, but the lawn seems good. They were nice and they still honored my coupon after it was expired. They came and they did it punctually. Idon't remember gettingany instructions that I need to water it and I do believe that the part of my lawn that isn't automatically watered, were killed because of the fertilization and not being watered.
Inexpensive and effective. Very easy work with. Highly recommended.
The company and its crew were very easy to deal with. The price was fair. The aeration treatment itself didn't help our lawn's health as much as hoped, but was nonetheless worthwhile.
I have hesitated to rate this company because I feel that we have not used it long enough. We started treatments a little late in the season to have a fully effective result.Our large lawns are heavily wooded,and we and most of our neighbors are dealing with bare spots in our yardsdue mostly tothe drought so this must be a consideration. In fairness to Emerald Lawns, I plan to continue the treatmentsthrough the winter and into next yearto hopefully see a more lush lawn.
The actual work was fine. It was difficult to figure out exactly when they were coming. I understand that it was raining which is why they canceled the first time. That I understand but exactly when they were coming post the rain out was very unclear. Actual guy that did the work didn't seem to understand why I wanted to know when they were coming. Emerald Lawns went above and beyond in their care of our lawn just that one time that I decided to hire them for the full year. They are extremely detail oriented and respond within 12 hours to any question and provide the most positive and thorough feedback.
