I received very good care but food is inedible. If you know you will be in the hospital, cook for yourself ahead of time.

I came into the emergency room with a leg injury and wasn't able to bear weight. When I got there, the ER staff were extremely helpful and kindly allowed me to park at the front entrance. They then moved my vehicle out of the way for me, which I greatly appreciated! When I was discharged, my keys were returned to me without clarification about where my vehicle had been parked. case manager very nice and professional. Mac and the others in the physical therapy area were attentive. only thing that didnt like was the food. They kept giving me the previous patient diet food.Bland.....

The therapists here are great, that's definitely their strongest area. I feel as if the nurses and support staff could use some additional training (meds were often forgotten, at times when the nurse call button is pressed no one come...this happens mainly overnight but also in the day time). The doctor that is on duty really just stops in to show his face he really doesn't bring anything additional other than maybe he's required to be there for regulation purposes. ER visit last night with child. Maybe we lucked out, that they weren't busy, but service was prompt, courteous, and pleasant. From the lady at the station outside the ER doors (COVID screening), to the tech who took vital signs, to the admissions clerk... we were in an ER cubicle within 30 minutes and seen a few minutes later by Dr Bailey and then nurse Misty. This hospital has helped a loved one more than words can imagine. They saved his life on many occasions. Many thanks to the lady I met there who is by far superior in nursing Betty on 6b and Hannah. Many thanks especially to housekeeping they have who is simply the best on floor 4b when our loved one was down there. Dr. Jalal was so helpful, and Dr. Joseph O'Gorman, DO. Words cannot express gratitude in this condition.

I was having liver failure and it was Memorial who pin pointed it first! The long story short I live here in Gulfport and my treating physician practices out of Ocean Springs, Singing River. Over the course of my many procedures and ER visits I would have to say between the two hospitals Memorial is certainly one of the best and I have lived in major cities, Dallas, Houston, Chicago and many other cities. I try to stay away from hospitals, I have had not so good experience at Memorial Hosp. But, we had a billing problem, not our fault. Mandy P. in the hospital billing department helped us above and beyond. She called when she said she would, explained everything, and resolved the issue. I give this employee a Big Shout out, I hope her employer know what a value employee she is.

The best hospital experience i have ever had. I have had multiple surgeries/procedures and my most recent one at Memorial hospital was the best hands down. Dr. Owen and his staff in the cardiology cath lab were incredible. Every single nurse / doctor were friendly and focused. I can't say enough good things about my experience.
