Why does the student pull out a freezer bag of strawberries with a very small square of acai??? Looks like someone is skimping on the Acai .

Normally I love Everbowl especially the one in San Marcos. I have come here many times (the one in Escondido) and have always had amazing service. I usually come at night and a few nights ago I came in mid day. I brought some friends with me and I thought it would be fun to show them my favorite place. I was wrong. I was helped by someone new. Yummy! Tons of options and free toppings and I was really stoked on my bowl. However, I was horrified to see all the plastic they use wasn't even plant-based plastic! The bowls, spoons, straws, so much waste for a store that sells healthy food. Please consider more sustainable options!

ok ok... I need to at least try to eat healthy. I always pass by Everbowl since it is near Trader Joe's and I finally decided to walk in. It's a cute little place. I ordered the on a date bowl because it includes peanut butter and added honey. Sooo delicious! I have to come by more often. Parking could be an issue during busy times because of the grocery stores but eventually a spot should open up. The cashier was friendly and offered her help which was nice.
