Went to Everbowl after a dental procedure for a smoothie. Got a smoothie and overnight oats (for dinner since I can't chew). I noticed the date on the oats was Aug 8 and today is Aug 12. When I asked for something that wasn't expired the young lady making the smoothies jumped in over the cashier and said they were fresh. Yum! The chocolate, peanut butter, and banana smoothie is my favorite. The prices are high (in my opinion) but they use high quality ingredients with everything.
It's alrightttttt. Hit or miss. Bowls are good, the lemon/ginger shot however, no thanks, it wasn't fresh. Tasted like "real lemon" concentrate that comes in a green bottle. You're better off going to a pressed juice type spot. The kale salad is delicious!
My first time having an açaí bowl and wow!! I'm hooked! I opted for the Chewy bowl, and it didn't disappoint. It had lots of peanut butter (yum!), topped with bananas, coconut and my choice: raspberries and chia seeds. It was my first time at Everbowl and like previously stated, my first time having an açaí bowl, the attendant explained the menu and the different options available. I was a bit overwhelmed so I just opted for one of the popular items on the menu! Can't wait to return and trying something new.
I ordered the Acerola base, with Chocolate Vegan Protein Powder, strawberries, bananas and grapes. It was very good, I especially loved the combination of cherry and chocolate together. The only recommendation I would make, is to add nutritional labels to the menu. I went to Everbowl after a workout and would have loved to log the nutrition in my meal. However the bowl was very good and the staff were friendly.
It was really only a matter of time before someone created the Chipotle of açaí bowls. I'd been hearing about Everbowl for months, but up until the other day I hadn't been able to actually get in and try it myself. I wish I had wised up way earlier! They do a really great product with a very efficient process. Choose your base, pick your toppings and about two minutes later you've got a deliciously refreshing meal packed with all sorts of super fruit. It's really no wonder these are literally popping up in every part of SD.
The cashiers were super sweet and helpful. The chewy bowl was alright. I have had better, but the bowls are HUGE.
Why does the student pull out a freezer bag of strawberries with a very small square of acai??? Looks like someone is skimping on the Acai .
Great service, fresh fruit, tons of customization, and tasty bowls. Highly recommend this place!
