We brought our dogs in for their boosters this past weekend. We have a puppy who can be a little excitable around strangers. The vet tech Brianna was amazing! She made our puppy feel relaxed and at ease. She was not only able to complete the boosters, but she also trimmed his nails and removed some excess fur. All kudos to her and her love for animals. She alone is worth giving this place a try, but overall never had a bad experience.

Been going to a few different veterinarian clinics the past few years. There's a lot of good ones, ok-ones, and some that are just straight booty in San Jose. Evergreen Veterinary Clinic is now our favorite as our experiences here have been great for our lil mut. First off I love how they have two doors at their entrance, one for dogs owners & one for cats owners. Gotta keep these two animals/owners separated at all times,,,lol...just a great concept! The doctors here are always giving good advice and never try to press... read more

I have been taking my cats here since the 80's. I like the gentle,, compassionate, Dr. Steve Amaro. I've seen the other partner, Barbara Lee too. She seems competent. This is the third cat in secession I've brought in. The first, a stray, ultimately had to be put down with a tumor, which they did for free in the 90's. My next, was terminally ill over New Year's and I had to take him to the emergency, after hrs. Clinic near Oakridge. I kept him until they were back and Dr. Steve put Maxie down too. Each time, they sent ... read more

A very overdue update. Dr. Louie has been taking gentle and compassionate care of our Havanese for three years. He has a wonderful "bedside manner." I would unreservedly recommend him, and the staff here.

After a nightmare visit to a groomer, my poor baby was left with a broken, bloody dew claw. I came in right when they opened on Sunday morning and was seen quickly. My baby, Chai, hates coming to the vet. Do dogs send out telepathic signals that vet offices are bad news? Lol. As soon as I opened the door to walk in, Chai was reluctant to enter. And he's usually a big cry baby about his nails (traumatized from when he was a puppy, my mom trimmed past the quick). Anyway, once the vet took him back to handle his dew claw issue... read more

The staff at Evergreen is outstanding from the front office, to the vets to the vet techs. We have been coming to this clinic for 15+ years with our dogs and cat and are always treated professionally and promptly. Their fees are very reasonable, too. We've referred many of our friends and neighbors knowing they will benefit from taking their furry companions to this group. Thank you to the staff! Karen

Love this place. Over the past years I believe I've had the privilege of seeing every doctor. All of them are so nice. Front office is super clean and always smells good. Love the singing bird they have. Recently I had my pet hospitalized and got to see how much the nurses and doctors care. Luckily my dog is better all thanks to everyone at Evergreen Veterinary, Thank you!!

Took my little buddy in because he had an ear infection. He's familiar with this place so this time when I brought him, I could see and feel him quiver. When we came, front reception was polite and said the wait may take 20 minutes longer because some other poor doggy had to go under anesthesia. Once we were in, Dr Rodda and the vet tech doted on my Darwin. I had to put a muzzle on him and distract him to keep still while his ears got checked. Dr Rodda explained that his ear hair needed to be plucked so he was taken back... read more

Been going here for years and I must say, experience with the front desk will vary but the doctors are pretty consistent. My go to vet is Dr. Louie. I feel that he is passionate about animals and is an empathetic person. I bring all my dogs to see him and he finds ways to help me out for example sending my medication prescription to target instead of purchasing in house because it costs so much more. If dr. Louie is unavailable, dr. arvizu is our second to go to dr. She is just as wonderful as Dr. Louie. very knowledgable... read more
