They dont prevenative maintenance Upon our arrival to our room, the smoke detector was beeping. I went down to the front desk where i was advised they didnt have any batteries and i could just disable my detector, which wasnt possible due to a wire cage being over it. I told her we were leaving for a few hours and something needed done while we were gone or we would have to switch rioms. When we returned, no staff were at the desk so we went up. It was quiet. The most outdated hotel. No utensils, cookware were provided. The kitchen is so small nd unequiped that it doesn't exist. No breakfast.

We booked and paid for two rooms at the Extended Stay America Suites Akron Copley East but when we arrived, we were advised that only one room was available in the hotel and the other was at a nearby hotel (Suburban Studio). This second hotel was noisy (dogs barking and people arguing at 2:00 am) and the no-smoking room smelt strongly of old cigarette smoke. I showed up to the extended stay around 11pm after booking a reservation that showed rooms available when I got there I was told there was no rooms available after booking and paying for a reservation online, I was sent across the street to the suburban studio the reptiontionest gave me a room key to one of there rooms. This place was worse than where I booked I wasn’t given a refund for the inconvenience due to there no refund policy. Air conditioner and the toilet broke in our room. They offer “complimentary breakfast” which was actually just coffee and instant oatmeal.

The room and chair are super dirty. The bathroom faucet was broken. There is almost nothing for the breakfast.

Hotel key didn’t work so I was locked out
