Under renovation, Smells like oil based paint In many years of never being dissapointed in a Marriott facility, This was the first! The stench of oil based paint was overwhelming as we entered the temporary lobby. This hotel is undergoing a renovation as indicated by the parking lot with 2 large storage containers. Our room was nice and freshly renovated, and freshly painted with that oil based paint smell still lurking in the air. Dont they make a more quiet AC unit? WE SHOULD HAVE BEEN TOLD IS WAS BEING RENOVATED When we checked in, the lady explained to us (she was very nice by the way) that the hotel was under renovations and that there could be LOUD noises until 6:00 PM. What could we do? This is information that should have been shared ahead of our stay. So, we checked in with hopes of being able to catch a nap because of the long trip in. Not a Good Impression The outside of this hotel is beautiful, looks like a nice apartment complex if you will. However, once inside, it doesn't look like what you 'think' you would see judging from its outside appearance. Customer Service was ok, blunt, to the point, not friendly, but not unfriendly. My room was 'eh' ok, I suppose; but the bed was HORRIBLE!!! Oh my! The mattress was 'springy' and totally uncomfortable! We only stayed the night, but it was not a pleasant stay. avoid this one. It was the little things: like the inter net, that was needed to keep up with class work. never did work right. The In room coffee maker spilling Hot liquid all over the counter instead of into the crafe. The toaster burned everything, for it to work required constant montering. the advertising and the breakfast "stuff", Well the family and I left without. The halls and elevator smell. Anotherwords no attention to details.

Just above average The staff was wonderful. However, 6 of us in 2 rooms and always had to remind them to give us more towels. Bulbs over desk didn't work in either room, and the internet wasn't wireless (didn't work with my touchpad)...overall, not too bad though...

If You're Looking for a Loud Party..... Can't recommend this hotel. First, the staff were great. They were very friendly and quick to resolve the problems I chose to report. 1. The tv only showed a blurry picture which was resolved by the manager adjusting the cable box. 2. I could not log onto the internet server with the supplied ethernet cable. There was no wireless service. This was resolved by the manager flipping the cable inputs from my computer to the box. 3. Which led to the extremely slow internet service. Pages th... read more

This place is a dump traffic was in and out all night long and you can hear people in the next room, this isn't a place I would return to or bring my family to again. Sounded like there was a party going on all night

Police in the parking lot When I arrived back at the hotel around 8pm... it was disturbing to find several police with a "suspect" who was yelling at the top of his lungs... it took a while for them to take him away... As a single woman traveling alone... it was scary!

Atl The Hotel AD on [...] showed seperate room for bed and sofa bed; that is the only reason we choose Hotel, and bed and sofa bed where right next to each other :( Also we had no pets, but where on the floor with lots of dogs only 3 doors down. We didn't like that because of the noise. The night clerk was really unfriendly, she made me feel like I was bothering her when I asked for an xtra pillow; she even rolled her eyes at me!
