Glad it was a short stay. Price was ok for the area, I suppose. Staff seemed quite friendly. Room was quite small, one double bed. Bed had no fitted sheet, just a flat sheet tucked under, which really didn't fit well. Furniture very nicked/scratched, edges broken off. Obviously very old and beat. Toilet wouldn't refill the tank, so didn't want to flush most of the time, manually had to reset the fill valve. I have no idea why this place got such low reviews. I noticed most of the bad ones were old post. Maybe it has new management now. We stayed one night for an early doctor appointment close by. You can not beat the price for location and looks of this room. Our room was updated with faux hardwood floors and immaculate, clean bathroom. It was also quiet even though it was close to stores. The only negative I can think of is the alarm clock didn't go off, but that could have been my fault. We got our wake up call, so it didn't ... read more
