Nice, cheap but make sure they don't take you credit card. - The hotel its self was nice and while I was there they service was great, however after I got back home I looked at my bank statement and noticed I was charged through expedia and through Extended Stay, so I called them and the guy I talked to, which was the same that checked me in got really ugly with me and told me that he took care of it and he knows he made the mistake, but the credit didn't show on my statement. I feel he should have told me at the time he mad... read more
"Weekend Out" The check in was easy and fast, other than that funny lingering smell, that part was great. We had been out all day so that made it nice. Got into our room and it was cool and clean, which was also good. The beds were a little stiff but the pillows were soft. Bathroom, shower and kitchen were also clean. !!!! One major concern was some kind of running or rolling on the top floor , pretty much for most of the night???
Met my needs in Austin area. We just needed a place to spend the evening after a high school reunion. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The hotel was quiet. Out destination for the reunion was The Oasis and this was only 10 minutes away. This was a basic nice room with a kitchen.
Convenient Location The Hotel was better than I expected. I liked the location. I was accross the Mall, it was minutes away from downtown Austin, and it was near Lake Travis which was my destination. I felt safe around the area. The neighborhood seemed calm with a lot of accessible grocery stores, restaurants, and shopping centers. I recommend it.
Pretty good experience for the most part Room was clean and spacious. Kitchenette with everything from silverware to ice cubes in freezer. Clean and comfortable. Towels and coffee. Ironing board and iron, hangers and plenty of drawers / shelves. Room included a recliner and two desks for working. Good restaurants, malls, cinemas and shopping all around. Only a few things wrong: TV remote didn't work properly so I had to get up a few times. "High speed" internet was EXTREMELY slow...download of 0.25 megabits...frustrating but... read more
Feb 2010 the beds very hard as a rock. you would think for an extended stay place they would have more comfortable beds.
Great Room for the Money The stay was somewhat on par for the money spent. It is in a decent location for what we needed. There is a snack bar and laundry room for you to use. The beds were flat and hard. The pillows were about 3 inches thick. The non-smoking room smelled of smoke mixed with musk but later went away after turning on the Air Conditioner. Conveniently next to a bank. They have wifi for an extra charge. There was no Shampoo but two small bars of body soap. Plenty of towels; but very coarse. The kitchen was nice... read more
