Ok. Bottom line, it was a clean, quiet room, reasonably priced, which allowed me to bring my dog. That’s what I needed. Though clean, the room could use some TLC - chipped paint, stained countertop and peeling laminate. But what hotel does not have a coffee maker in the room or an ice machine? I wanted to fill my water jug for an event I was participating in and include ice. Had o settle for 2 trays of cubes I made. I was there for only one night. Little less than expected. For the most part it was not excectly what i expected. Some minor things would have made it better. There were no cooking or serving item included with the room. Just a hot plate, frig and a sink. So if you need those you might want to call ahead. I tired an extended stay on this trip, instead of a hotel to have some cooking options. It's quiet area. It's good for taking a nice walk. Lots of nature and beautiful autumn foliage. The staff is friendly and kind. The manager of ESA I-90 Schaumburg, Syed, is always kind, courteous and helpful.
