Fan in bathroom was horrendously loud.
This property is awful! The beds are on exposed cheap metal frames. The mattress has a plastic cover over it and nothing between it and the sheet - your bed crunches and does not breathe. The pillows are old and worn and barely a pillow at all. The fridge is dinged up, countertop laminate is peeling. No dishes in the room. It was appalling!
At this particular Extended Stay was there for 3 days on a UPS Teamster business meeting. The room I was in 132 had no ventilation upon cooking & using the kitchen. The exhaust fan above the stove wasn't connected to an outlet to remove the smoke accumulated in the room. The fan blew the smoke right back into your face & filled the entire room with smoke making it impossible to remain in the room. Had to sit outside for over 3 hours until the smoke cleared. The television channels are not as represented in the distributed guide. Limited local channels. Staff advised issue is with in the entire building and has been addressed. No resolution in the last to weeks. Security; (1) exterior door does not lock. A few card readers are not working.
Room and facility OK. Bossy, dictatorial, condescending manager and staff. Nobody knew anything because "they only work here part time", "they are just here from another facility covering for lack of staff". Could not get any questions answered-felt like a prison stay with no guards/info. I would never "EXTEND" my stay here.
Purchase new bedding… Stained sheets with holes are unacceptable I don’t care if the room was $10 per night! Remove old appliances, how do you expect anyone to use a dirty refrigerator, I wouldn’t even place my bottle water in it! Last but I’m sure not least HIRE NEW HOUSEKEEPING TEAM! The rooms are smelly and dirty!!! FIX IT!!!
