My first room was clean but had a very bad smell of pets I asked to have my room changed and they did so right away.

Clean and comfortable We were visiting son at Northwestern, so for that it wasn't too ideal since it's a good 20 minute drive there, but otherwise the hotel was clean and comfortable. Lots of shopping and food nearby.

You get what you pay for. This hotel is reasonably priced and conveniently located for our purposes. It is obviously a hotel filled primarily for people in need of temporary housing for one reason or another. Therefore, bags of garbage are frequently placed outside doors. Housekeeping is done weekly. You must exchange towels at the desk and request dishes for the kitchenette. "Free breakfast" consists of coffee, tea, packaged granola bars and muffins.
