There was no ice machine??? And that was very strange

Clean but not very good rest. I arrived close to midnight and the lobby had several people waiting for assistance. 15 minutes later two employees came out. I was finally assigned a room, which went smoothly. The room was nice and clean but the temperature was warm. I put the fan to run but it was still warm. Finally I put on the air conditioner and still not much relief (it was 32 degrees outside). Also extremely heavy smell of smoke in the hallway, possibly cigarette combined with weed. Once in the room I did not smell it.

I’ve stayed at various Extended Stay locations across the country so was aware of the amenities and offerings prior to check in. I was in Columbus (Easton) for a work event and overall I had a very good experience. The location is great and an easy walk to several restaurants, bars and retail shops. My only “issue” is that my room was not as clean as I would have liked.

There were food containers and other trash left under the beds by previous people which my toddler found. We stayed on a Saturday and there were numerous young adults making noises between the hours of 3 and 5 AM making really hard to stay asleep.

It was comfortable enough but a tad outdated. Nice to have the miniature kitchen facility, though we did not need to use it. Would have liked a coffee maker in the room. Very friendly and helpful staff especially a young lady called Shianne.

I liked the friendliness of the staff and the area of the property. However, our bathroom light was basically a strobe light and we opted for using the bathroom in the dark over having to sit with a flashing light. Also I don't know if it was something on our end, but we didn't see any housekeeping in the 3 days we stayed. Our trash was never taken out, and we were never given any new towels or wash cloths.
