Homestead Studio Suites Dallas - Richardson I would not stay here again. I was traveling and wanted just a simple room for me and my family to be able to sleep for a few hours and to take a bath also. The hotel smelled like some strange inscence in the halls, there was garbage bags full of garbage outside of the cans in the hallway. The upkeep and maintainance was poor. Never again Booked a king size suite. Checked in with the front office. When I arrived at room, discovered 2 full/queen beds. I called front desk and they said no king size suites were available but the 2 beds were an upgrade. Could not get remote to turn on TV so called the front desk 3 different times the next hour but phone just rang and tang. Finally discovered remote did not work so had to use controls on the TV itself.

Homestead Suite - Richardson Entry door closest to my room didn't work so I had to go the long way around every time I went in and out. Zero amenities (shampoo, etc.) No ice machine in the building. Remote to TV missing and replacement I was given didn't work.

Smelled like smoke... I reserved 6 rooms for a group and booked all non-smoking rooms. Four out of six rooms stunk like smoke. When I called the front desk to complain they said they would put ozone cleaners in the rooms to help with the smell. They never did. Also, I reserved rooms that, on the reservation, said included breakfast. This was the big reason I chose this restaurant. When we checked in they said that breakfast was only served Monday thru Friday. If I had known this I would have stayed someplace different.

Never again My family and I typically travel to this area at least 3 weekends a month and have stayed at different hotel chains each time. This hotel was by far the worst we have stayed at. At minimum I expect a clean room with working amenities. Our room had mold not only in the bathroom but on the dishes and sleeping area walls. I couldn't blow dry my hair while someone was using the bathroom without the electricity fuse flipping leaving both me and the poor person in the bathroom in total darkness. Dingy and rundown Non-smoking room smelled like smoke, wallpaper peeling off in the hallways, security door broken, no employees answering the phone in the afternoons or evenings and the internet is way too slow for them to be charging people for it!

Entire hotel reeks of Stale Cigarettes Besided the fact that the rooms and hallways reek of stale smoke, the "High Speed" internet service was like using dial up!

Never Again!! I made a very late reservation w/late check-in but when I got there, they were running reports and couldn't check us in. One of my kids fell asleep in a lobby chair and then AN HOUR LATER they said their system had flipped to the next day (it was abount 10:00 p.m. by now) and because of Expedia allowing our late reservation that they couldn't check us in for the correct day and their system was trying to bill us for 2 days. needs improvement The hotel lobby was great. But the rooms was in need of a good cleaning. My companions had to change rooms because both of their ac were out. I would not recommend this hotel unless they improve their house cleaning .
