sub par place to sleep only room not cleaned, bed not made upon return

Business response:

Thank you for your feedback about your stay at our hotel. I apologize that our housekeeping policy did not meet your expectations. We only offer daily housekeeping services to guests staying eight or more nights; however these services are always available upon request for an additional fee. I apologize if you were not informed of this policy upon arrival. Thank you for providing us with your comments. I hope that you will return to our hotel, or any of our other Extended Stay Hotels in the future.

I was very disappointed during my stay. My room had some molding. The roll of toilet paper had only3 sheets left on it up my arrival. And the ceiling in my bathroom wasa bit charcoal on the top. I'm not sure if it was smoke damaged or not but that's what it looks like. A family member rented a room at the same hotel on the same floor And their room was much cleaner then mine considering I paid for 4 nights and they only paid for 2. Very disappointed with my stay. I would never stay at another extended stay America again.

Business response:

Linda - Thank you for taking the time to write a review of your stay. I am very sorry that your room was unclean upon arrival and did not meet your expectations. As this hotel's manager, I can assure you that I am working with our team to better our cleaning procedures and inspection policies to ensure these types of issues are not repeated in the future. We hope that you will give us the opportunity to provide you with a better stay the next time you are in the area.

Won't go again For 85 a night with tax ($100), this was pretty disappointing. Staff was okay, but nothing special. Room was sad, toe nail clippings were on the floor, odd smell, uninviting.

Business response:

Thank you for your recent review of your stay . I sincerely apologize that you were disappointed about your stay , I want you to know that I went over the survey and your comments with my Housekeeping team and we will double and triple check rooms to make sure that incident like toe nail clipping and the odd smell do not occur in the future. I do hop... read more

Dump in Sugar Land The hotel was old and in need of renovations. There were smelly garbage cans kept in hallway that I had to hold my nose when passing. , the breakfast was the worst I have ever had, cheap granola bars and moldy oranges. I will never stay in an Extended Stay America again

Terrible! No cleaning service, towels and linens musty. Broken shower curtain rod with no curtain liner. Never staying there again. What kind of hotel only cleans rooms once a week?

Terrible I couldn't believe how horrible this hotel was! I usually go onto Expedia to find good deals on hotels for my boyfriend when he comes down to visit me on a last minute notice, and after this stay I will definitely believe the reviews from previous clients. I felt so bad making him stay at a dirty hotel. When I first got there the elevator did NOT work, you would think they would put up an "out of order" sign for people to see....The stairs were horrible, the carpets were stained of God knows what....the room was no ... read more

To prevent any of these issues from happening again, I am re-training my staff on our cleaning procedures and inspection policies. As well, our staff is working to repair items in your room as needed. Again thank you for taking the time to tell us about your stay. I do hope that you will return to our hotel or any other Extended Stay Hotels locations in the future.

booking a non-smoking room I didn't like that when I got there, I found out the non-smoking room I booked was actually a smoking room. I blame that on hotels.com even more. I booked with them, not the hotel. That is the service they provide, right? Turns out, when the sink fell out in the bathroom, a non-smoking room appeared. Over all, good location, just had to deal with some stuff I wish I didn't have to

Very Dissappointed The outside of the hotel was nice, but the room was awful. The walls, appliances, countertops had old stains on them, the towels were dingy. I will not be coming again.
