better than expected Room was clean. Accidentally booked a smoking room but was pleasantly surprised that the smell wasn't over bearing. Very convienent location between the beach and downtown. Beds were a little to firm for my liking but not enough for a bad review. I would recommend this room. We have stayed in Jacksonville south on previous occasions and this room was heads above the others we've experienced. We will be back in may for welcome to rockville
Lots of updates Lots of remodeling was taking place during our visit. That's a good thing. the only down side I could think of was that they have non-smoking rooms beside smoking rooms and the hallways smelled like an old bar. All smoking rooms should be on one floor and not mixed with non-smoking rooms.

close to friend's place Everything was good. But few things are not satisfactory was the towels are too old. Not clean the dust off. Frame of bed where I hit and hurt from. Missed the breakfast hour. Hope everything goes solved the problem asap. Thank you.

Friendly staff! We booked a hotel in the ghetto and had to quickly change hotels upon arrival. We were able to get in here and it was such an upgrade! Amanda, at the front desk, was patient with us and was very friendly. She made sure everything was in tip top shape for us. I liked the fact that after 10 you had to have your key to get back in the building. The room was spacious and if we had needed to stay longer, we would have loved the kitchen. Highly recommended.

above average Was on short notice, and for the price on a friday night, no complaints at all. The only issue I have was that the furniture was way old, and the sofa was stained. Beyond that....no issue at all
The staff was super sweet and helpful. I was there for a family emergency and hadn't even packed an overnight bag and they were great in providing suggestions for getting everything I needed.

Location good, hotel in need of rennovation We booked this room since it was moderately priced and in a good location. Once we got there the front desk staff was excellent, very polite and friendly. Then we got to our room. We were afraid to take our shoes off since the carpet was so filthy. We left our room for a couple hours only to return to it filled with ants. We had ZERO food in the room - they were even in the bathroom. They quickly switched us to another room which was about just as dirty but at least no ants. There ... read more
