our stay in Juneau the assist. mgr, Jonnie, made us feel at home and was very accommodating. The first day was the 4th of july and there was no hotel shuttle to take us downtown.

Too close to airport Very loud. Heater/ac didn't work. Two out three washers broke. Musty smell in room. too close to airport is my fault though.

Close to Airport The motel is pleasant, as is their staff. However, the staff isn't real knowledgeable about street names or how to get to points of interest very well. I truly appreciated having a hotel/motel with the option of a smoking room. I know it's a terrible habit, but it makes the difference of whether I stay at their hotel or several others in the area. Juneau Extended stay its located directly at the airport, in fact, forget the cab, just walk (bags and all) the block, and save yourself some money. Hotel is newer, and clean, but you have to ask for anything for the kitchen. Even glasses. Not walkable to anything. Ask for the airport view… otherwise its a dirty alleyway and the back of a hardware store.
Good hotel. Very nice to have a kitchen available. Helpful and friendly staff. Complimentary breakfast fairly simple but still appreciated. Hot-tub was out of commission during our visit. Front or upper back rooms have a better view out the window. Restaurant nearby.
Recent stay in Juneau The only complaint I have is that I arrived there to the hotel about 1:45pm and was told that checkin was at 3 which was fine. Theproblem was that at 4:05 I was still sitting there without a room. I eventually left and didn't come back until later in the evening so I am not sure what time my room was actually ready. Otherwise things were good.
