Quiet retreat from the bustle Nice and quiet, big rooms with kitchenette, not a traditional hotel but I loved the peace and quiet above everything else

quite accomodatingh Very happy with the friendliness and ccourtesy of the staff. We were very pleased that they were able to accommodate our parking, noone else in the area had the ability to offer us anywhere to park our car carrier semi. They were also very helpful when we inquired about sight seeing options. Overall gooooood experience and we would be happy to stay again.
MPA The room was nice, but we were never offered kitchen supplies so was not able to use the kitchen.

Meh My overall rating of the hotel was impacted by the hotel service. In my opinion, there's never a reason to be short or snippy with a guest; particularly when a guest is calling to confirm their reservation. At any rate, the staff seems generally overworked. Which was obvious when my hotel key did not work (for the second day in a row). It was especially annoying when I wasn't able to enter the side of the hotel with my three year old daughter. This was a fine place to spend a night while traveling. The room was clean and the staff was pleasant. The negatives were that the room smelled a bit like smoke and TV is not large (by today's standards).

Iceless on Long Island. I travel quite often and can't remember the last time I stayed in a hotel without an ice machine. Had to go out to the supermarket to get ice. For a room that size the TV was small. Time to move up and play with the big boys.

Close hotel to Hofstra University No complaints however, would have been nice to have a coffee pot in room. Also an ice machine on the floor would have been convenient. Overall good place to stay, we only stayed one night and checked in late do dis not get the chance to really check things out.
