Weird Place We stayed at this hotel during our road trip. The staff was not very warm. Breakfast is awful we couldn't even get coffee.

Room was a mess I had to literally buy my own sheets and put the on the bad because there was a huge brown spot on the hotel sheets. The bathroom toilet was filled with feces and the room spelled horrible.

Lacking The check in process took almost an hour. There ws only 1 attendant at the desk, and she was trying to find rooms in other locations for others that had reservations. Apparently the hotel was overbooked and she was sending people to other hotels that were 7+ miles away. It was late, and we had been traveling all day, so I was glad that our room was actually available. Not what I expected. I was disappointed in this hotel. First off, it is called Extended Stay America, not Homestead, which made it difficult to find. Upon entering, the lobby was not very clean and the first impression was that of a lower class motel. Everything was dated, and the carpet was very dirty. There was a very strange odor throughout the hotel, including in my room. The bed was older and well used and the blanket and comforter were very cheap. felt and looked dirty. It was short and quick, but the place was dirty and it smelled. The front door didn't work and the staff wasn't around all of the time.

Worst hotel ever! Believe it! This was the worst experience we have ever. We got to the hotel early they said we had to wait until 3pm so we left came back after 3pm all of a sudden they say they don't have our room available all they have is smoking when we had specifically asked for non smoking. We payed for a room with double beds they didn't have one they gave us a room with 1 bed and a sofa bed. We were tired so we just took that, we get to the room and it hadn't been cleaned. not good comfort for a hotel in THAT AREA No comp. breakfast No daily rm cleaning resturants in that same area was alot better First time in memphis and was disappointed with the hotel for it to be in that area.

Upon initial entrance it seemed great.... You may not want to read this.... Ratings of Good/Fair/Poor Location: Good Access to and Parking: Good Personnel: Good Checkin: Good Security: Good Room Overall: Poor, because of; No wash clothes....
