Money Saver Hotel. The area seemed safe. The rooms were outdated and the bed was hard.

nonsmoking rooms should not smell like smoke room was ok . it was suppose to be a non smoking room . it still smelled like smoke . ran the vent in the bathroom all night. the smell was real bad there

Close proximity to what I needed to do The 2nd time I stayed here and both times they checked the room in to other people who came in my room thinking it was their room.

Did not honor non- smoking request We booked a non-smoking room online. It wasn't until we opened the door to our room that we found out we were in a smoking, pet-friendly room. We were told that "non-smoking" was a request they honored when they could. If a non-smoking room was not available, it should not have been "available" online. The hotel staff explained that they were at full capacity, and therefore could not move us to another room. I have asthma, so this room was certainly not desirable. Weird Place We stayed at this hotel during our road trip. The staff was not very warm. Breakfast is awful we couldn't even get coffee.

Room was a mess I had to literally buy my own sheets and put the on the bad because there was a huge brown spot on the hotel sheets. The bathroom toilet was filled with feces and the room spelled horrible.

Lacking The check in process took almost an hour. There ws only 1 attendant at the desk, and she was trying to find rooms in other locations for others that had reservations. Apparently the hotel was overbooked and she was sending people to other hotels that were 7+ miles away. It was late, and we had been traveling all day, so I was glad that our room was actually available. Not what I expected. I was disappointed in this hotel. First off, it is called Extended Stay America, not Homestead, which made it difficult to find. Upon entering, the lobby was not very clean and the first impression was that of a lower class motel. Everything was dated, and the carpet was very dirty. There was a very strange odor throughout the hotel, including in my room. The bed was older and well used and the blanket and comforter were very cheap. felt and looked dirty. It was short and quick, but the place was dirty and it smelled. The front door didn't work and the staff wasn't around all of the time.
