Everything was great until Hotel is really nice and is quite up to date... Until it was time to go to bed then we pulled the covers back and seen yellow tan stains on the sheets, I first thought they were burnt stains and then I realized that could had been urine... I understand things happen but if sheets are visibly stained then it's time to throw them out.

One nighter Was in the area for a graduation party and needed a place to crash for the night. This fit the bill just right. For the price you can't beat the amenities and location. Room had a full kitchenette and the hotel itself was located right across the street from a mall which was a nice bonus. I would stay here again.

surprisingly quiet This location is very close to interstate 65. I have stayed at a hotel on the other side of 65 and found it pretty noisy. This was, by comparison, very quiet. I enjoyed the kitchenette which has a supply of utensils for basic cooking. Bedding was nice with assorted pillows. I will stay here again!

Pleasantly Surprised First time at an Extended Stay America, and very pleasantly surprised. Only drawback was no king beds, as we are used to one. Overall, very satisfied.

Good Hotel, Decent Price Hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The breakfast was not what I expected. It was all grab and go prepackaged food. I would have been better off going to Bob Evans or Denny's for a better breakfast. If I was going for a business trip or stayed longer than a night then this would have been a great hotel for that. I'm glad I didn't pay too much for our stay.

This one was not as up to date and lacked a couch compared to many other Extended Stays I have been in. Furnishings weren't as nice either (old laminated counter and attached laminated table). Desk clerk struggled with trying to get me an updated folio at checkout .. Way Too Long and eventually couldn't do it!

Weekend with Hubby. Our stay at Extended Stay American Merrillville was really nice. The room was very well kept, nice and clean. Simple yet nicely decorated. My husband and I really enjoyed the kitchen like amenities where we could store our snacks for the evening,
