Clean and Roomy The hotel staff was very friendly. The only thing you need to do is remember to bring your own toiletries; like shampoo and conditioner. Luckily I read that in a previous review. It is right next to IHOP and many other restaurants as well as the interstate. Room was clean and roomy.

Excellent value for the money, great location !!! Excellent value for the money, great location nearby restaurants and shopping options. Quick access to expressways.

Better than Extended Stay I wasn't there 'much' but it was quieter than a lot of hotels close to a freeway. Grocery store is close by. My curtain was detatched from rod so I had to use bobby pins to close the top so light didn't pour in. Bathroom fan goes on with the light and it's obnoctiously loud. I like this hotel better than Extended Stay.

Stay The location was very converient for us and it was quiet The parking was very good. The beds were comfortable and hard as I like them. The staff was pleasant. It was very convenient to the freeway and easy find. There was a good, popular restaurant next door. Not much else in the neighborhiood besides the restaurant and the freeway.

Wonderful hotel The Homestead was a wonderful hotel for us. It was conveniently located, quiet, and exceptionally comfortable. We highly recommend it.

Average - needs some attention Great location! Room was clean and ready for our arrival. Comfortable for the both of us. Slept well. However, a little mold was beginning to form on the shower curtain - needs to be looked into/replaced. Checkout was a little disconcerting - no one at the desk (closed) when we left a little before 7:00am.

Homstead 4/15/11 I have stayed at this hotel in the past a few times. I only stay 2 or 3 nights at the most. With that short a stay, no maid service is available. I am happy with that and the fact that there is a kitchenette in the room. I live 200 miles north of Minneapolis and visit family, friends, events and shop til I drop. Many times we purchase items from various food shops that must be refrigerated, so the kitchenette if very handy. This stay I found too many dust bunnies around the edge of the room. Excellent service Great place to stay, front desk was very friendly and helpful, rooms are nice and well equipped and it all is a great value for what you get.
