Helpful Staff Actually I reserved this, sight unseen, for two senior adults that needed to come to Nashville for an appointment, so my comments are based on their view of the hotel. So my experience was only with the desk clerk. She was extremely polite and helpful as I did not know the procedures for paying for a room when I was not going to be present for the night. She also explained that since I did not have a fax machine handy to sign for payment, that I might do best by going through hotel.com. Stated they usually had ... read more
Nice for the price. To be in Franklin, this was a very good deal. Seems to be the location of visiting construction workers though. Paid 3x as much for a not much better room down the street. Very nice neighborhood.
HOTEL? Or HOME to Many? I guess the first clue should have been the name of the hotel, Homestead, but it didn't occur to me that there would be people working on their cars in the parking lot. The room itself was really nice and the bed comfortable, though it had the stench of what smelled like years of stale cigarettes. The heating/air was difficult to figure out and we never did get warm. The main problem, however, is that this "hotel" has become so acclimated with people living in it that it has ceased to be a real hotel.... read more
Smoky suite Room was generally clean and in fair repair but smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. As we were just staying a few hours didn't request new room
Ok If you're looking for a decent hotel at a cheap price, it's ok. No frills. Not very impressive.
GREAT LITTLE HIDEAWAY I arrived 2 hours before the 3pm check-in and needed my room right away to execute a surprise for an old friend. the young lady at the desk found a room that was ready and had the key in my hand in 5 minutes. the room was great - two burner stove, full refrigerator, microwave and wifi. the bed could have been better but i've certainly slept on worse. the hotel is one of the best i have tried, and i travel quite a bit. the price was incredible, especially for a weeknight in a business driven city
