Understaffed and hallways reeked of pot smoke Hotel seemed understaffed. We booked ahead. It took several minutes just to get someone to check us in. Then she had to walk to the room herself to see if it had been cleaned, so check-in took several more minutes while other people waited for their turn. When we got to our room there was only one towel. Requested more and were told they were being washed - no more available for 20 minutes. They did bring more towels to us after 20-30 minutes. Good: Large room. Comfortable bed. Reasonable price. Not so good: Required a $100 deposit in addition to the room charge with no clear explanation: bathroom sink was plumbed backwards; and the TV did not work (kept dropping the signal).

Staffing Issue No fault to the very helpful young lady at the front desk, but I arrived at 2:30 for my 3:00 pm check-in, but my room was not ready due to staffing/housekeeping issues. I had to find a place for me and my family to hang out until about 5:00pm when I was called and told that my room was ready. The hotel was undergoing what looked like much-needed renovations. The room was part upgraded and part outdated and worn. The kitchen had no dishes or cookware, and the cabinets would not close. The whole hotel had an old cigarette smoke smell. The couch was torn and collapsing, and the recliner did not work at all. The bathroom was nice and clean.
