It's ok but... The hotel needs updating and modernizing. Staff are friendly and helpful. Room was clean but did not have a shower curtain - cleaner said she would get me one but didn't.

Smell isn't nice... Came into the room all of the kitchen cabinets were opened. Room was slightly dusty. Windows were filthy. Can't see out of them well (lots of grime and water stains) the worst was the over powering smell of bad Odor that wouldn't escape even if you opened the windows. A better choice is the Newport Beach location.

Two reasons why I chose this hotel There are 2 reasons why I chose this hotel. They accept pets and location was less than 5 minutes from the establishment I was visiting. I stayed at this hotel in November 2016 and my experience was slightly better than this visit. Since I booked this room through Hotels.com they do NOT provide housekeeping, only if we were staying a week! REALLY??? We would have had to request it upon making the reservation online. Lilly The room was not very clean and it had a musty smell. The service at the front desk was absolutely horrible. Very rude receptionist.

Good inexpensive room Room was nice, comfortable. Everything I needed for the surf city half marathon. My only complaint would be the shower, could use a little elbow grease. Otherwise, very nice. Staff was excellent.

Dirty We got to our room and checked everything out and as soon as we looked at the cooktop there were bugs crawling around in a few places. Also would have been nice to be able to rent a movie in the room. Who doesn't have a pool or jacuzzi at their hotel
