Good value economy hotel takes dogs Clean but in need of refurbishment (they were working on 2 rooms while we were there). The convenience of a kitchenette and reasonable fee for dogs, along with a good price for the area, makes it a good value.
This area has a homeless population, particularly at night. This will be intimidating for many people especially if you need to walk over to the 7-11 for something and have to pass by small groups of 2 or 3 asking for money

Staff was very friendly. First room we got had not been cleaned. 2nd room was ok if you like dirty floors. Bring lots of lysol to spray room had a terrible smell. Was supposed to have coffee ready but none was available. Only thing was it was close to shoreline amphitheater
