Stranded between assignments I got stuck on the road when an assignment was cancelled at the last minute. I had that limbo period after checking out of one hotel until I could check into the next. I was able to check in a bit early after going grocery shopping at a store recommended by the front desk clerk. I was pleased to see that my room wasn't just the same thing I see at every other hotel in this chain.

I booked a room with 2 beds and received a room with 1 bed upon arrival Very disappointed with Hotels.com for only refunding me 15% of my reservation price instead of the difference in room price.
Okay stop over Both rooms I was offered had residual smoker's odors. It's not a surprise as these hotels are usually stays for temporary workers and this is a mixed industrial/professional area.
