HARD beds Overall the Exstended Stay Hotel was good. It allowed me to cook in. However the wireless is slow, and spotty, and the bed was rock hard.
Pet friendly hotel We have never traveled with our Golden Retriever and I was a bit worried about the standards in a hotel that allowed pets. I was very pleased to find our hotel room was very clean, odor free and was as good or better than any non-pet hotel we had ever visited. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the kitchen was efficient and stocked with cooking necessities and the grounds were a lovely place to walk the dog.

Smoky smells in the halls Although my room wasn't too bad, the smell of smoke in the hall between the elevator and my room was unacceptable. The concept of the hotel was wonderful but basic cleaning of the room between customers was poor.
Great like going home! Great location with friendly staff, my second visit and always great.
Good and clean Although the room and hotel itself was well-maintained and clean, I did not know the hotel did not offer daily maid service except at an additional cost. Having the kitchenette was a nice feature as it allowed me to eat some meals and snacks in the room. Would stay again.
Great location - rooms need to be cleaned better` This is a very nice hotel - the location to Old Portland and Old Orchard Beach is very convenient. The room appeared clean but when I dropped something under the bed - there were several cat toys (stuffed animals, a tinkering bell) as well as a hair clip - all under the same bed? Other than that - we had a very pleasant stay.
This hotel is very old and in needs of a complete rennovation. The room was dirty, everything was broken, from the sink to the tub, to the kitchen counter. I cannot believe that I paid almost $300 for this. The onyl nice thing was the lady at the front desk. She was very friendly and helpful.
