Are You Kidding Me?! worst experience ever, got there at 11:30 pm and guess what No reception desk they closed at 11 pm, without even caring about customers who arrive late; there was a phone there for "Late Check In" and no one even cared to answer that. This place is terrible they ruined my Valentine's weekend and wasted my time and money.

Fire the Maid We checked in late, and the first thing we noticed was the cheap cologne smell of the room. After looking around the room it was obvious that it had not been properly cleaned except the linens had been changed. Dirty counters, dirty floors, dirty bathroom including the toilet. I won't be staying here again, this is disgusting.

Close to Portland. Good quiet location I had requested a recliner chair and took a more expensive room to have a recliner. (My husband must sit up to sleep) We had a very nice suite but no recliner chair.. I asked the girl on the desk if we could move even a small room of it had a recliner and she said they didn't have any recliners. Next morning I found out another quest had one of the least expensive rooms and it had a recliner. WE would have gladly traded our suite for that room, just to have the recliner. Not a fan When we arrived our key wouldn't work so we had to go back to the front desk to get working keys. Then we were surprised when we opened the door and the room was not clean and bed was not made. We had to go back to the front desk and get a new room. New room was okay but what a hassle.

The offered free breakfast was a complete waste of time. The utentsils and the cookware provided were laughable. Plastic cups, really?When we turned on the heat it smelled like the place was going to burn down. For a place of that size a small fitness room would have been a nice addition. We like to travel a couple of times a year. We won't stay there again.

Nothing special for more $$ I knew there might be problems when I arrived at the hotel at 7 PM (only 5 minutes after confirming my reservation on hotel.com) when reception seemed puzzled I was there and stated "I hope your room is clean". It was but it was a very basic, somewhat dark and unstylish, dated room. Had the essentials of fridge and microwave, plenty of closet space. The smoking non-smoking room The non-smoking room reeked of smoke but according to the front desk staff there were no other rooms for us to move to. Our cloths stank when we got home. Will never stay at Stay America/Homestead Portland

Extended Stay Hotel We were not informed of the type of hotel we would be staying in. That it is for people staying a greater length of time, therefore we had no maid service, the toilet leaked, the shower did not have a stop so the bathroom flooded when ever we showered and we were given 3 towels to clean up the water and if we needed more we would have to pay $5 extra.
