Affordable with friendly staff. Location less so. But a good way to escape Portland crowd and prices

It was a great price
Nice spacious room! Nice room down on the end of the building. The staff was very courteous, friendly & helpful. It was nice to have a secure area to park my truck at night. Only complaint was that the bed was a little on the firm side. And, a pool/Jacuzzi would have been nice.

This area was a homeless/transient center. There is one locked entrance to the building, and one locked entrance to the parking lot, and I was worried about my packed car all night long because of all the people loitering around the building and parking lot. I always felt like I had to run the gauntlet to get into the door. "Breakfast" was a granola bar and cup of coffee - don't think they should advertise it as having breakfast. It's not just not Marriott; it's not even Motel 6!
