Someone banged on my door at 2:30 am twice. Reported it to from desk. No-one followed up with me about it. Food ran out early during breakfast. There was no one there to ask for help. Had to park in the back at night. Lighting was poor. Was worried about my safety.

Not great, not terrible Overall stay was mediocre. Had to wait a bit to check in. Some of the steps in the parking lot were loose and posed a safety hazard. The hotel appears to be understaffed, the elevators were always messy and frequently smelled of cigarettes, and housekeeping was available only if requested. The free breakfast was underwhelming. Hotel staff were courteous.

Standard chain hotel with quick check-in and clean rooms. Could use better pillows and sheets on the beds, and the breakfast wasn't good - could definitely use better food.

Checkin was haphazard at best. If you can - Checkin ahead of time. Our bathroom door squeaked loudly and there was a rip in our couch. Not horrible, but just things you notice. If it is something you would fix in your home you’d expect it to be fixed someplace where you’re paying a nightly rate. Overall, it’s a nice hotel, but nothing special.

Top notch hotel in Independence, Ohio. This is a fabulous hotel. Great staff, well maintained, great food, ambience and great tucked away location. Highway nearby. My room had an amazing view which is implanted in my memory. Also enjoyed walking in the area and running on the Cleveland Parks, Towpath, a few kilometres away. Would recommend the Hyatt Place to anyone.
