no frills but clean/pleasant Unexpectedly had to stay overnight in Fort Lauderdale. this hotel had a convenient location close to the beach. Staff were very pleasant. Room was clean. Drinking glasses in the room would have been useful. Breakfast was minimalist but adequate (coffee/tea, packaged muffins) and stuffed into a very small lobby area. I'd stay here again if I needed to be close to the beach area.

good They offer shuttle service to the airport and cruise port

The location near the cruise ship dock as a plus. However, we were quite disappointed in the airport shuttle not being available after 4:00 pm. I did not see that communicated on the website information. To make things worse, we called the hotel from the airport and were told that the shuttle runs every 15 minutes. After waiting a while longer we called again and was then told that the shuttle did not run after 4:00 pm. The location is excellent for airport and cruise port access. Breakfast with a short supply of coffee and a long wait was quite disappointing. There was nothing in the room to make a hot drink with. The credit card machine didn't work with our card, but manual sign-in was okay.
