Nice location no amenities, location is incredible, with great views of the marina and jack london square in Oakland. The staff was friendly. The accomodations were adequate. No soda or snack macines. Bed was fair the pillows were not,like sleeping on a newspaper. The location made it alright but, bring your own pillows and ammenitties ( including shampoo ).

Extended Stay America Oakland - Alameda, CA Nice place. Check in was very smooth. Clean. One side has beautiful view of waterline with yahts all around.

Good Place To Stay. Good Value My wife and I stayed here while we attended the City Lights Cruise. We stayed with 2 other couples while celebrating a friends Bday. The front desk clerk ([...]) was a great help in accomidating our room requests for having a large group. The hotel was nice and clean and the view of the water was a plus. We will definitely be back.

Great hotel and a fantastic location!!!! I booked this hotel because I had a doctors appointment close by. I was a little worried because it was in downtown Oakland but it ended up in a really good location. There was a great view, about 40 yards from my window was the marine (which was totally unexpected.) It was full of nice sailboats! Down the street was a newer shopping center with places to eat and a grocery store. The room was super clean and everything was new. I loved it. REVIEW INFO AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE OF $3.00 PER DAY TO HAVE CLEAN TOWELS AND THE BED MADE. THE ROOM HAS A KITCHEN AREA BUT THERE WAS MINIMAL SILVERWARE, NO TEASPOONS. NO DISH DETERGENT.

Great waterfront location but lacks comfort. Room furnishings were showing their age and wear. The bed was way too hard.

Overall a good stay This hotel seems to be situated in an area in transition. The question is, "transition to what?" To reach it ones drives through a mixed residential and business area. The hotel sits right on the inlet and backs up to a nice little series of docks crowded with sail boats and other leisure craft. There is a public walk way all along the water front that makes for a pleasant (but chilly) stroll.
