Nice hotel, poor service The room was nice, and the hotel was in a good location near the highway but not far from a main street area with lots of nice cafes and shops. But the service was very poor. No one was at the desk for check in or check out, so we had to call the 800# and wait both times.

Didn't like it how they wouldn't take cash for a payment, needed to be credit card. They do not come in and change out your towels on a daily basis, you have to go to the front desk and ask for new towels.

I'm so sorry to hear that you were not aware of our ‘Simple’ philosophy and that guests pay only for the amenities they want to use (like daily cleaning and linen changes). It sounds like this felt like an inconvenience to you instead of a customized positive experience and we're so sorry we disappointed you. Originally I had booked my reservation thru hotels.com and there was a slight problem so Donna the manager at the hotel was wonderful and took great care of the situation. The only suggestion I can make is that they put some benches outside the front of the hotel so guest can sit outside on a warm day. Also something to decorate the front of the building to make it more homy looking. This is your new one on Corliss Street in Providence RI

Perfect stay if attending an event. Hotel is 6 mins from commuter rail. My stay was going. But the 10:30am knock to see if your checking out not needed. Ice machine and buckets need. There is a mini stoves top for cooking but no pots, pans, bowl or plates.
