Economical and Great Location We needed a place for the Newport Jazz Festival that was convenient enough to drive in and priced right compared to the rates in Newport. This was perfect. It was a 15-20 minute drive each way, and the hotel location was right next to 4 restaurants, a large movie theater and a breakfast/lunch place where we could pickup sandwiches to bring to the festival each day. Decent night stay A nice hotel with great staff. The beds are a little stiff and the breakfast is a little slim on the Pickens but not a bad place at all.
Inexpensive hotel The bedding and towels really need to be updated. The paper goods were empty and should have been filled. They hotel was very clean.

There is a really kitchen but the smell of smokers It fulfill our needs and it had a real kitchen which we never utilized but, the smell of smokers permeated the hallway throughout the building.

Good location We wanted to stay close to bigger cities such as Providence and Newport, but was looking for more affordable hotels. This hotel location was perfect for us as it is close to the main highways including I-95 and highway 4. It is also very convenient since there are restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacy, and a cinema around the corner. Room was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel does provide complimentary shampoo/soap/tooth brush and toothpaste, but you'll have to ask for it at front desk.
Good value, very comfortable Inexpensive, very comfortable room/bed, everything necessary. Love the kitchenette!
