Exteded Stay Carey NC Hotel is in a very nice location. Beautiful area and for the most part a business park. Nearby places to eat and I highly suggest "Lucky 23". It's less that 1/2 mile from the hotel and good Southern food at a good price. Walmart and TGIF about 2 miles away. Rooms are clean and offer a complete kitchen. Bed was good and a good value for the price I paid. There is an outdoor music arean close by. The staff was friendly but had no idea of anything in the area. They good not even tell me to go eat. Good stay for the money. I was in town to take an exam for certification for my job. I had to study in the evenings for the test the next day and the hotel was quiet similar to a library. The cable programs were a good "break" in the studying. The desk/table was good processing for the paper work related to the test. It was worth the investment to stay over rather than compute from home each day to the review session & test. I would consider staying at one of their hotels for a longer period next time the need arises.
Filthy exercise equipment Am fine w basic equipment but please routinely disinfect and ensure in working order!!
