Good service Overall it was a pleasant stay. Iron didn't work but was quickly replaced. Beds were small (double) and hard but there was an offer for a foam pad to be added to the bed. The continental "breakfast" (prepackaged muffins and granola bars) left a lot to be desired and they ran out of regular creamer for the coffee. At least offer half and half. We went to a restaurant.The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and the surrounding area was quiet. Overall our stay was not too bad though.

Convenient to Volunteering at Reno Tahoe Open The location was great. Keeps you away from downtown Reno traffic. The room is fairly noisy. You can hear near by rooms using the shower, flushing the toilet and other rooms air conditioning kicking off and on. It is clean but be aware you do not have maid service if you stay less than a week. Be prepared to make your own bed, get fresh towels at the front desk, and take out your own trash.
Extended Stay South Reno Extended Stay properties can be pretty uneven in terms of condition and quality of staff. This one, in south Reno near Damonte Ranch, is at the top end: friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, and pride of ownership conveyed in the overall property's appearance. Proximity to restaurants, Starbucks, and the 580 freeway are pluses.
Quiet neighborhood stay We stayed one night at Extended Stay. The hotel is in a nice & quiet area of South Reno. It is close to shopping, if needed. The hotel appears clean and well maintained. The complimentary "grab & go" breakfast is fairly minimal - coffee/tea, granola bars, muffins, oatmeal, and fruit - probably because there is a kitchen in each unit & you can prepare your own. Great price on Expedia A great home away from home on the road. We were headed to a cabin in northern California, so the fact that we could bring food along the two day trip saved us a ton of money. The only bummer was a broken computer chair and a toilet that seemed a tad unstable.
