Stayed at this hotel for a tournament, when you walk in smelled like cigerette although hotel says non smoking hotel. The room were clean, free breakfast, overall nice hotel

Great Hotel Experience! The staff was so friendly! The room was excellent and very clean! You could eat soup off that floor it was so clean! I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a great place to stay while in the Oceanside/Carlsbad area. Thank you very much Extended Stay for the great experience. Location suited my purposes So, somehow ended up with a reservation for a smoking room(ick!) and there weren't any other non-smoking rooms left. I did book it last minute, so could be pilot error. The desk clerk Natalie offered to let me take a whiff of the room before committing or I could try to get expedia to find someplace else. The first room smelled ok so she checked me in and offered a tip to use bounce dryer sheets for the smell. Unfortunately, once checked in the AC in that room was not working at all. Hotel was clean. Room was clean. Dark at night. Quiet. Room could use more ventilation. Bathroom fan worked but very low air flow.

The walls are very thin. I could hear the people next door talking, which kept me up late and the baby crying in the morning. The room also smelled like bug spray had been used before we checked in.

Booked a room for my son. Booked a room for my son. Booked through the ESA website. Was supposed to get 40% off. yea, right, 15% at best. Then completed a third party authorization form for payment of the room. Low and behold, this location does not accept a third party payment. Funny, every other ESA in the country does.
