Terrible hotel! We had to wait 40 minutes for someone to show up at desk to check us in (she was off shopping). Non-smoking room smelled to high heaven, refrig disgusting, bed hard as a rock, poor service. Worst hotel I have been to in memory.

You get what you pay for The hotel suffers from a third floor that is a smoking floor. The smell of smoke is pervasive throughout the hotel. I checked to the third floor and had to be moved to the first due to the odor of smoke, but the even there in the hall the ventillation system circulated the smell there. This is not a short stay hotel or business friendly hotel by any means and it is old and run down. Front desk is only open from 8am - 11pm. Stay here only if you want to save a buck. So So hotel, not the best not the worst. The hotel was situated in a very nice part of town. When I arrived there was no one at the check in counter. The whole counter was covered with metal bars. I had to find a person in the break room to check me in. She did not speak english and had to hand me a piece of paper to tell me what I needed to check in. The lady was nice though. Do not stay here!!!! Probably not a safe place to stay because the doors were open but nobody was monitoring the lobby late at night.

Horrible beds! We recently stayed at this hotel while in the area for my brother's wedding. The location of the hotel was the best part. The hotel is adjacent to a Wal-mart which was very convienent, and also close to many restaurants. The room was clean enough. If not for the bed we would have had a great stay for the price we paid... but the beds were horrible! Thin, scratchy sheets and bed covers, absolutely no luxury here. Watch out for the bed Good location and good curb appeal. However it was pretty marginal inside in the lobby and halls. Room was good and in good repair but bed was horrible. It reminded me of one of those discount mattress places where they sell you a cheap bed that is plywood covered with fabric. It squeaked when you sat on it and very hard. But it was cheap and a good location for us. But next time I will pay a little more and get a better bed.

If you don't want to sleep, stay here. After driving all day and a late night, coming in and getting a good nights sleep was all I wanted. The bed in the room was so uncomfortable and LOUD. The box spring squeaked every time you moved. Then add the flattest pillows in the world; yeah, sleep was not possible. The front desk is closed, so there is no one there to call and ask for more pillows OR another room.
