This hotel appears to have people without homes staying there. Place had a bad oder as all people living there cook and it just did not smell good. Trash over-flowing out of garbage cans. No ice machine could never find a soda machine ? The hotel was just in poor shape --- would not stay there again. Not real clean..............

Not up to snuff When I walked into my room, it smelled stale, almost like smoke but not quite. The elevator next door was quite loud. General appearance of the place looked old and tired. Front desk clerk not as helpful as he could have been. Will not be staying here again, despite the reasonable price.

Not happy with this hotel Checking in, the hotel did not have the room I reserved available. They had to put me in a room with one queen size bed and sofa sleeper. Which wouldn't have been an issue, but I had four people (two kids) in this room. The room itself was unacceptable. FIrst as soon as we steeped off the elevator the whole third floor smelled like cigerette smoke (supposed to be non-smoking hotel). rock hard beds Worst hotel bed I've ever slept on. Very out of date for a hotel in this price range. Air pconditioner couldn't cool off the room even at night. After booking it turns out .the lac.e doesn't have breakfast every day

Not a warm welcome What can we say? We just didn't feel welcome; felt like they couldn't wait for us to leave. Most of the staff were abrupt and dismissive. Room smelled weird, clock on kitchen wall didn't work, and there were only 2 bath towels and one bar of soap in the unit. Odd.

Stay Away This is a "tired"building. They do not gaurantee room type, so if you need two beds, you may end up with a sleeper sofa that is old. The desk clerk at check in lied about possible room availabilty the next day. This is truely a no-frills place starting with no place to sit if you want to get out of your room. The only thing good about it is its location, but there are many other hotels in the area to choose from. My daughter described it as "skankey". Don't stay here! If you are looking for a cheap hotel near the drop-off/pick-up location for the Michigan Flyer shuttle, stay at the Fairfield Inn & Suites and NOT the Extended Stay. Extended Stay was dirty and smelly; I felt like I was going to get bed bugs, and was horribly uncomfortable. Even though I was losing money, I checked out 2 hours after my arrival at Extended Stay and went across the street to check in to the Fairfield Inn.
