we have stayed at this property multiple times over the last five years and always feel like good value for the cost. Still kept up well and we like the option of using the kitchenette during extended stays in area.
On the way to O'Hare from Wisconsin trip Hotel was fine. The only thing that I thought was a little odd was the front desk area. It was more like a doctor's office than a nice, welcoming hotel. ot very warm or welcoming. Because this is the first thing you see when you get there, it doesn't set a very good tone.
Clean and roomy Stayed overnight for soccer event. Close to Sportscore 2 and restaurants. The room was clean and roomy. I would stay there again.
Breakfast was ok for adults; however they did not have any milk or juice for children. Not giving my 2 year old Coffee or tea!
Great Room Spacious and well designed room.
Eat In Kitchen We stayed two nights and enjoyed the use of the kitchenette for diner one night and breakfast the next morning. Full stove, refrigerator with freezer (ice cubes) microwave, toaster, coffee maker and place settings for two. Located with all the other chain hotels so still had to drive into downtown Rockford. Rockford is a nice place to visit, fun park district activities at a low cost.
Concerns Noisy refrigerator. Overcharges for pets $25. Poor breakfast selection. Probably would not stay again.
Repairs on roof interrupted sleep It was okay. I asked for a room away from traffic, but was not given one. I was preparing for bed and all of a sudden loud noises came from the roof right above my room with drilling and other noises. I had to call front desk to inquire what was going on. They said they had to repair something and this was the only time the repair man could come. It stopped and then another annoying motor running noise started.
